Dr. Amarendra Pandey

Amarendra Pandey has studied in the department of English at The M.S. University of Baroda undergraduate to the doctoral level. He wrote his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Writing Travel and the Question of the National Subject.” He teaches courses on genres of literature, history of literature, and travel literature at the undergraduate level. He has been teaching courses on Gandhi’s thoughts in all semesters of the postgraduate programme along with courses in the history of literature and Latin American literature. His areas of interest are travel writing, post-colonial writing, and Gandhian thoughts. He has been on the editorial board of Vidyapith which is the institutional research journal of Gujarat Vidyapith.
